I wasn't going to be one of those people, you know, one of those people who constantly ask 'when are you getting married?' But when my brother in law and his girlfriend still hadn't got engaged last year, after being together for like 12 billion years and attending like 16 million weddings, I thought enough is enough. And I asked... 'when are you getting married?'
... and I asked again... and maybe I asked again!
Until one day James asked me why I was so bothered and I realised it was because it would be the happiest day of my life to see two of my favourite people in the whole world get married and that maybe, just maybe, I was more excited for them to get engaged and married than I remember being about my own wedding and that maybe James should stop wasting his time asking me silly questions and get on with asking Gabbi a big one! And breathe!
So in January, not far from the red light district, where James had weighed up all other options (joking!) he did in fact bend down on one knee and ask Gabbi to marry him! Thank fuck for that!
So with haste I lured them into an engagement shoot, an event which I knew would be awesome due to their sense of fun and relaxed nature. And you know what! It was bloody fantastic!
